Call Committee Update — The Call Committee has begun its first round of interviews of the pastor candidates that Bishop Lull presented. The Call Committee expects to complete the interviews in the next week or two, and thereafter it will decide on which candidate(s) to invite for a second interview. Please pray that the Holy Spirit continues to be present in the Call Committee’s work.

Fishing for Fishers of Men (and Fish) — Do you like to fish or have an interest in learning? Fishers of Men is a Men and Youth (14 or older) ministry that is excited for its third year and we’re always looking for a few more good men!  We fish an area lake each Tuesday from 6-9 pm (weather and boat availability dependent) from late May through August. Fishers rotate to a new boat each week and take turns picking the lake and the terms of a friendly contest. If you have a boat and are interested in adding it to the lineup, great! But we typically are able to find enough boats with room for fishers who don’t own their own boat. If you are interested in being included, please contact Ray Valley ( or 651-303-5265 and he’ll get you on the list!

Can you visit a church friend? Next Sunday, May 5, members of the Health & Caring Ministry Team will be in the Gathering Area before and after the “Volunteer Appreciation All Worship Service.” We will be recruiting “Friendly Visitors” – Volunteers who are willing to deliver meals or flowers or just stop in to say “Hi” to a member who cannot get to church. A short training/orientation session will be provided to volunteers. If you are already a visitor, please let us know so we can have a complete list of people to call on. See you next Sunday!

Socks and Underwear Collection—Donations for Lutheran Social Services due May 2. Items can be placed in the box below the poster in the Gathering Area.

Lenten Tapestry — Our congregation’s tapestry is almost done and it is a wonderful work of art — full of color and meaning. There are still spaces where you can add strands of color and places where you can attach something meaningful to you. We are all connected here at Our Savior’s and the tapestry is not complete without you!”

April Book of the Month Club—The Book of the Month Club will meet on Monday, April 29, at 1:00 pm to discuss “Small Great Things” by Jodi Picoult. Hope to see you there.
