Intergenerational Event! Following worship today we invite all ages to join us in making Christmas Ornaments and decorating cookies together to enjoy.
You are invited to help us prepare our church for this Christmas season! We’ll be decorating today immediately after the 9:30 am worship service. Please meet Dan and Amy Stoffer by the Welcome Desk after the service day if you’d like to participate.
A driver is needed for a member who lives close by and needs a ride to the 8:00 am service starting January 13, 2019. If you are available and interested, please contact Parish Nurse Stacy Meyer at email@example.com or at 651-439-5704, ext. 109.
Attention OSLC “POE” Group (People over 80)! This is the start of the Advent season and we again have gifts for you! Please see Stacy Meyer at the end of service for your Advent present as a special gift to you. We pray your Advent season is filled with blessings and love.
The Annual Giving Tree at Our Savior’s is set-up in the Gathering Area. Please choose a tag from the tree and purchase a special gift for someone in need this Christmas!
Property and Grounds Committee meeting on Monday, December 3, at 6:00 pm in the Family Room. All are welcome!
Childcare Volunteers Needed! We are in need of adult childcare volunteers for the nursery on Sunday mornings. Childcare volunteers are asked to be in the nursery from 9:00-11:45 am throughout the school year. Volunteers are in a rotation and work in the nursery about once a month. Please contact Darla Goble if interested.
Poinsettias for Christmas Eve Services! Orders are now being taken for poinsettias to be placed in the worship areas for the Christmas Eve services. Please use the envelopes provided by the information poster in the Gathering Area if you are interested in adorning our altar area in celebration of Christ’s birth. Final orders due Wednesday, December 12. The cost is $9.50 and the plants may be taken home following the last Christmas Eve service.
PEP Christmas Buffet Lunch — The PEP Christmas Buffet Lunch will be at the Lowell Inn on Tuesday, December 11 from 12-3 pm. Sign-up sheet is available on the PEP bulletin board (please note if you are looking for a ride or if you have dietary restrictions). The cost is $20.00 per person. Payment needs to be into the church office with check payable to OSLC by December 2.
Sign-up for a women’s Advent Tea in the Gathering Area. These Advent Teas are a great way to not only prepare ourselves for the season but to gather in small groups for fellowship. Teas are held at different times and places so take a look and find one that works for you. Feel free to bring a friend!
Christmas Cookie Trays — We have just a few large trays of Christmas Cookies still available. The large tray sells for $40.00 and contains 10 dozen cookies (6 each of 20 kinds). If interested, please order in the Gathering Area today or call Susan at 651-430-1111. They will be ready for pickup on Friday, December 7, from 3:00-5:00 pm or Sunday, December 9.
An Evening of Holiday Peace on December 2 at 6:30 pm with stories & music. Join us as we welcome guest harpist Tami Briggs as she shares powerful stories, Christmas readings and plays beautiful holiday music. Refreshments served at 6:00 pm before the program.
Fall Undies Update — Thank you to all who contributed to the Valley Outreach Undies Campaign. OSLC members generously donated 1,107 pieces of undies to help those less fortunate in our community.
