Job Posting: Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is seeking an adult Choral and Instrumental Director for our faith ministry and worship. This is a part-time role working approximately 6 – 10 hours/ week. Interested candidates should send their resume and request for a job description to email@example.com
Save the Date! We are partnering with the St. Croix Family Resource Center and area churches to offer ‘”Fourth Friday Food and Friendship” community meals to people who are hungry, lonely or in need of social connections. Our “Fourth Friday” is November 22. We will be serving a meal and fellowship at 5:30 – 7:30 pm and volunteers will be needed. Get Moving! The Walk & Talk group will resume their weekly walks on Mondays, 5:30 – 6:30 pm starting September 9. As weather and daylight permits, we will be walking from the Brown’s Creek Trailhead on Neal Ave. near McKusick Road. If it is raining, we will meet at the church. Graduate Connection: Every year a great group of Our Savior’s young men and women graduate from high school and move on to the next chapter of their lives. We want to remember them as they start out by connecting with them via cards, texts, etc. Also, care packages are sent a couple times during the year. If you would like to connect with one of our newest graduates, please plan to attend a meeting on Monday, Sept 9, at 7:00 pm in the Narthex (outside the sanctuary) as we organize for this new year.
Bible Study Enrichment: All women of Our Savior’s are invited to a Bible Study mini-retreat on Saturday, September 14 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The first part of the Bible Study will include the book of Job, Psalms and Lamentations, while the second part will be lessons on vocation and calling. This retreat will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 2499 N Helen Street in North St Paul. The cost is $16 which includes the Bible Study leader, breaks and lunch. Without lunch the cost is $8. Registration forms are on the women’s bulletin board across from the church office. Child care is provided. Car pooling is also available.
3rd Grade Back-to-the-Bible FaithMarker: FaithMarker class is Sunday, September 29 from 9:15-10:15 am. Your 3rd grader will be receiving the Connect Study Bible at this FaithMarker. Parents & guardians: Please come with your child. We will meet in the CLC. 2019-20 Faith Formation: If you have not yet registered your child for fall programming, please do so TODAY! Faith Formation, Confirmation Burger Bash and Confirmation classes all begin on Sunday, September 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 18. There is something for children age 3 through 12th grade. Just go to www.oslcstillwater.org and look under “What’s Happening” on the home page to register.

Faith Formation Starts! We are looking forward to kicking off the start of Faith Formation with class activities, bounce house and games on September 15 at 9:15 am and fun class activities on September 18 at 6:10 pm! See you then!
Faith Formation Teacher Volunteer Blessing: All Faith Formation Teachers and Volunteers are asked to attend one of the services on September 15 or 18 for a special blessing.
Youth Skit Team: The Youth Skit Team would like to involve more students in performing the skits during the services this year! Any students 4th grade or older are asked to sign up on the sheet in the Gathering Area if you are interested. Those signing up need to be available to perform on both Sunday 10:30 am and Wednesday 5:30 pm services listed on the sign up sheet. Actors also need to be able to attend practice times. Questions? Youth Bells: We are looking for any youth from 5th grade on who are interested in being a part of the youth bell choir, no experience needed! We will be performing at all family worships and potentially more. Practices will be from 1-2 pm each Sunday starting on
