There is a very special spirit about Our Savior’s. Long-time members and new faces alike describe it as a loving and authentic community of faith. It is our calling to demonstrate God’s love to all. We dream about our exciting future with new neighbors, new staffing and the invitation to extend Christ’s love to the world.

Our Theme song reminds us: “Love—the world needs Our Savior’s love. This is our calling to share God’s love to all.” Would you prayerfully consider joining Jesus in this mission to share God’s love?

“Darla welcomed us right away and we knew this would be a great place for us. Our youngest son Will has enjoyed the Faith Formation classes, participating in the Christmas program, and attending VBS every summer.

Our daughter Lyla now enjoys Youth Group where she says she can talk to friends about her faith in God and appreciates Chad’s energy.

Our oldest son Lucas enjoys his Youth Group for the variety of activities they do. He has just been confirmed at OSLC and recently built his Eagle Scout Project for OSLC as a way to give back to the church.

Matt and I truly appreciate the positive messages each week from Pastor Karna. They help us focus on improving our everyday relationships with God, our family, and our community. It is not only a fun and enriching place for our children but a place for all of us to grow in faith together as a family.”

God’s love flows deeply at Our Savior’s. Scripture reminds us, “Faith, Hope and Love; abide these three, but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13) As we walk by faith, we have an enduring hope in our future.

We live out our calling to “Demonstrate God’s love to all.”

During the last year, Our Savior’s learned creative ways to demonstrate God’s love:

  • We experience energy through our worship services. We reach several hundreds of people weekly as we gather in-person and on Facebook, YouTube, Church website, local Television and DVD’s. Our online and in-person worship services reach both within and beyond our congregation.
  • We engage youth, children, small groups, musicians, and committees as we connect in ways to grow in faith. People in the Valley know our VBS, youth and music programs are known for their excellence.
  • We are equipped to generously demonstrate God’s love to our mission partner congregations as we continue to serve locally in St. Paul, and globally in Tanzania, Jamaica and Guatemala. Our Lake Area Discovery Center (LADC) child care program has the highest enrollment of all sites. With the completion of Zvago Stillwater Cooperative Living early next year, we will have an expanded opportunity for mission and outreach to all of these new neighbors.

We live in a world that longs to experience God’s love in tangible ways. While eighty percent of Minnesotans state they believe in God, only twenty percent are actively involved in a local congregation.

We have an incredible opportunity to increase our presence.
