Quilters

The quilters at OSLC are a very special group who put their hearts and hands into making quilts for those in need. In the past they have donated hundreds of quilts to Lutheran World Relief, to the WIC program, Union Gospel Mission and to the Life Care Center. They also present quilts to all of the graduating seniors at Our Savior’s as well as at each baptism that takes place at Our Savior’s.  Three groups of quilters meet at the church: Morning Quilters, Mission Quilters, Piecemakers (Evening Quilters)

Other Opportunities

Girl's Time Out

Girl’s Time Out

Advent Teas will be held throughout the first week of Advent. These are great opportunities to stop during the busiest time of year and

focus on the season of Advent. Teas will be held in homes with groups of ten or so women at each tea. Times vary.

Thyme for Grace ministry prepares and packages meals for those in our community who could benefit from a meal to ease their way.  Meals can be found in the church freezer and everyone in our church family is welcome to take a meal for someone who might need one.

Girls Time Out is hosted thee times a year with a variety of educational and fun fellowship events for women.  Watch the eblast and bulletin for upcoming events.

Women’s Retreat

Each spring the women of Our Savior’s gather for a Spring Retreat.  This retreat not only gives women the opportunity to grow in Christ and refresh their own souls, but strengthens relationships with Sisters in Christ.

Graduate Connection

Members of Our Savior’s remember our newest high school graduates with notes of encouragement via mail, email, text during the year to remind them that they are loved by their congregation.  Twice a year care packages are sent from Our Savior’s.

Beyond Ourselves

Women from Our Savior’s also take part in events of the St. Paul Area Synod Women. A cluster meeting is held each year with other congregations in the East Central Cluster. Informative speakers as well as fellowship with women in our area helps us grow in our faith.

In the spring of each year the convention of the women in the St. Paul Area Synod takes place. Worship, key note speakers, a banquet, workshops and business take place at this two day event.
