Do What You Do Best!
At Our Savior’s, we know that members and friends feel fully engaged when they have opportunities to do what they do best in our congregation.
Our Member & Friend Information Sheet allows you to share your education/occupation, skills and interests with us. If you have taken the online CliftonStrengths Assessment (previously known as Clifton StrengthsFinder), you can also share your top 5 strengths. If you have not taken the assessment, you can indicate if you are interested in taking it and we will provide a book and access code for the assessment.
Together, we can use the information you share with us to find opportunities for you to do what you do best, here at Our Savior’s!

Serve in Worship
Sign Up to Serve on Sunday mornings as Greeters, Ushers, Readers or Communion Servers!
Greeters hold open our doors, welcome worshipers with a smile and assist newcomers with questions.
Ushers light the altar candles, put out the welcome pads at the end of each pew/row, pass out bulletins and hymnals with a smile, count and record the number of worshipers, collect the offering, release people by pew/row to communion stations (Communion Sundays only), and after the service recycle used bulletins, collect welcome pads and extinguish candles.
Readers read the appointed lesson(s) for Sunday Worship.
Communion Servers work with the Pastor in distributing the Sacrament (wafer/bread and wine) at worship on the 1st, 3rd or 5th Sunday of the month.
The Altar Guild’s responsibilities include preparing the Sacrament for Holy Communion and the general readiness of the Chancel and Altar throughout the Church Year.
